I think this is still a good game but with Asylum Rocksteady made an almost perfect superhero game while Arkham City feels a bit overblown … Expand It just means you have to grapple that much further between missions. The open world of Arkham City is not as good as the more focused world of Arkham Asylum. A similar thing happens with the combat, there are so many tricks and combos that some of the terrific flow that developed with the first game gets lost as you become spoiled for choice and the new stuff isn't integrated as well as the original moves. The thing is, you end up with so much stuff that you barely use some of the items at all. In AC you have all the original's gizmos and accumulate even more. In AA you start with only a few gadgets and slowly build them up.
